This was my first time reading Ava Miles. I started and finished the Dare Valley boxed set 1-3, because of the low price (thanks Book Bub for the notifications) and I enjoyed all three books. I plan to read the rest of the books in this series. I liked the characters (well developed) and the small town story as it threads the people, their lives, and the town together. I was completely drawn in and really enjoyed the author’s writing style. Just the right amount of dialogue and introspection to keep you involved and moves along at the ideal pace. A great set of contemporary romances with an enjoyable mix of intelligent and interesting women, alpha males, heroes, conflicts, falling in love and small town togetherness. It’s a fun and easy read. I am now an Ava Miles fan.Product details

These were pretty good books, fun to read. I did get tired of the Nora Roberts ads all over the first one, and noticed that in their own books, the characters changed a good deal from what they were like in the other two. Still, I enjoyed them enough to buy the fourth.
It was okay but not near as good as Nora Roberts
I love the series! Ava makes her characters real and you want to know them as they are funny, sassy and kind on all levels.. I really appreciate the attitude she gave to the Grandpa as it reminds me of Nora Roberts "The MacGregor" who loves his daughters and is sneaky helping them to find love! I highly recommend this series and more as they are make you feel good books! I want a Chocolate Garden with fairies! Magical.
I didn't think it would be as good as Nora Roberts' books, but I was totally surprised. Now I can't put them down.
Sadly I only liked the first of the three books. I found both the main female and male characters likable. In the second book, I liked the main female character, but I really disliked the main male character (Brian). I disliked him so much, I didn't want them to end up together. The third book was just ok. I will not be ordering any more books in this series.
This is a set of three good romantic stories written by Ava Miles. They are well written and I thoroughly enjoyed them.
Story line was OK, but I skipped over the sex scenes. With all the F-bombs dropped, if they were a movie, they would have hav a R rating and I would never went to seeing them. I wish some authors would take into consideration how much better their books would be without sex scenes (I wouldn't want my sex life published)and don't need to read others and I don't ever drop the F-bomb, it is offensive. So I skipped a lot of the content and without the bad stuff, they would have been pretty good books
